From a kitchen table to 35 countries
Illuminated Apparel was started in 2015 by founder Robert Manley, working on his own from his mum's kitchen.
The idea was simple: a T-shirt that becomes a canvas for light. Kids (and plenty of grown-ups) can draw, write and play on it again and again, with no pens, no mess and no batteries in the shirt.
That first glow T-shirt is still what we're best known for. Today we design, print and pack a growing range of fun, high-quality and affordable glow gifts from our base in Oxfordshire, UK, and send them all over the world.

Every T-shirt comes with its own glow torch. A phone torch works too.
