Each drawing glows for up to five minutes, then slowly fades away, leaving a fresh canvas to start again.
The science bit
Why does it glow?
The glow canvas is printed with a special glow-in-the-dark ink. When the torch's violet light hits it, the ink soaks up that energy and stores it.
It then lets the energy out again slowly, as a soft green glow, wherever the light touched. That's why the drawing appears exactly where you moved the torch, and why it gently fades over a few minutes.
